The Offspring, Simple Plan & Sum 41
It’s been a long time coming, but fans of The Offspring, Simple Plan, and Sum 41 will finally get to see the three bands perform together on the same stage. On Tuesday August 29th, 2023, the three bands will be performing at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater in support of their new joint album.
The Offspring, Simple Plan, and Sum 41 first started working on the album back in early 2020, but due to the pandemic, the album was put on hold. The album was finally completed in late 2021, and the three bands decided to go on tour to support it.
The Offspring, Simple Plan, and Sum 41 have been some of the most influential pop punk bands of the past two decades. The Offspring’s 1994 album “Smash” is considered to be one of the most influential punk albums of all time, while Simple Plan’s 2002 album “No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls” helped to popularize the pop punk genre. Sum 41’s 2001 album “All Killer No Filler” was also hugely successful, and the band has continued to be a force in the punk rock world.
